Citroen C4 (2015)

Citroen C4

Launched in 2010, with over 450,000 vehicles produced at the Mulhouse plant in France, the second-generation Citroen C4 has been updated in 2015 with a new light signature, more useful technologies and latest-generation engines. Setting the standard for comfort in its segment, it is cementing its status as a compact hatchback delivering a superb ride and driving experience. Its elegant design, all-around comfort, and outstanding driveability are proof of Citroen's capacity to use creativity and technology to provide an overall sense of well-being.

The New Citroen C4 Range features:

  • a new light signature that makes the front end more expressive with LED running lights and adds a more dynamic touch to the rear end with 3D-effect tail lights. It also gains new upholstery materials and a simpler dashboard featuring a new centrally located 7" touchscreen tablet;
  • comfort is as exceptional as ever owing to a performance that filters out the road with no trade-off in driving pleasure. Onboard comfort is increased with standard-setting acoustic features, comfortable seats, massaging front seat, and a panoramic glass roof equipped with an electric blind. The Citroen C4 is also spacious thanks to its 2.61 m wheelbase, split foldback rear seats, and a boot volume of 408 litres, setting the standard in this segment;
  • useful technologies, with the introduction of the hands-free Access and Start-up system, a new 7-inch touchscreen tablet grouping all the media and navigation functions. Also featured are technologies designed to simplify driving, such as Hill Start Assist, Intelligent Traction Control and the Blind Spot Monitoring system. Plus everything needed for a connected motoring experience with the Citroen Connect Box (including the emergency call and assistance system, a virtual servicing manual and an Eco-Driving service, all accessible over the Internet*);
  • latest-generation engines that enhance driveability and reduce fuel consumption. The 3-cylinder PureTech petrol engines and BlueHDi Diesels all meet Euro 6 standards. Combined with the Stop & Start technology and ultra low rolling resistance tyres, they deliver excellent fuel economy: 3.3 l/100 km and 86 g of CO2 for the BlueHDi 100 S&S manual unit and 4.8 l/100 km and 110 g of CO2 for the PureTech 130 S&S EAT6. The new EAT6 automatic gearbox contributes to this remarkable performance.
Citroen C4 Cactus (2015)

Citroen C4 Cactus

Our world is changing and customer expectations are evolving at an increasingly rapid rate, which means ever greater demands on today's products and services. With the new C4 Cactus, Citroën has acknowledged these new customer requirements, offering a real alternative to the traditional compact hatchback.

Boasting a striking design, the new Citroën C4 Cactus stands out from its rivals in the competitive C segment, offering a unique style that is both functional and attractive. In doing so, Citroën meets a specific challenge - bringing customers more of what really counts.

The Citroën C4 Cactus heralds a new approach to automotive design, offering:

  • More design
  • Greater comfort
  • More useful technology
  • …with a reduced cost of ownership.

MORE DESIGN

The new Citroën C4 Cactus reconciles the characteristics of good looks and functionality, with unique styling that is both memorable and easily identifiable. This is a design that features:

  • Pure, smooth surfaces
  • Flowing lines, free of harsh edges
  • Floating quarter-lights & a floating roof
  • A high-tech light signature with daytime-running LED lights & headlights built into the Airbump® protection at the front
  • Visual features that each highlight a given function - from Airbump® & wheel arch protection to the strong useable roof bars and the large panoramic glazed roof with its advanced heat protection.
Citroen Cactus M Concept (2015)

Citroen Cactus M Concept

One year on from the launch of the C4 Cactus, Citroën will display a new take on the model at the 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show - the Citroën Cactus M Concept.

The SUV looks of the Cactus M, previously suggested by the C4 Cactus, are underlined by its specific styling and features. The strong sculpted lines, at the front and rear, convey a sense of power. The use of tall and narrow tyres made it possible to increase wheel diameter, resulting in an increased body height. This impression is reinforced by the sculpted wheel arches. The robust and compact look of the Cactus M is underlined by the 60° rake of the windscreen and the thickness of the pillars, conveying a sense of strength.

The design of the bumpers and the door mirrors was inspired by the Citroën Aircross concept. The solid metal tow hooks and door mirrors suggest protection and quality. These styling attributes position the Citroën Cactus M concept in the world of SUVs and reflect the ties between the two concepts.

Like the Méhari in its time, the Cactus M concept was designed as an open-air vehicle. It seeks to bring passengers closer to their surroundings and to make life easier.

The Citroën Cactus M has two long doors, further underlining the impression of compact overall dimensions. The design of these moulded plastic one-piece doors makes them particularly easy to open and close , while also reducing overall vehicle weight. The doors use the same Airbump® concept as on C4 Cactus with their thermoformed TPU coating. This 'second skin', which is also used on the bumpers, resists knocks and scratches as well as salt water and sand. The concept has been designed with visible hinges, just like the renowned Méhari, which also had ABS plastic bodywork.

Citroen DS3 (2015)

Citroen DS3

The DS3 and DS3 Cabrio are once again shaking up established ideas and making a further statement of character with a new, unique and high-tech light signature. The two models are also receiving further upgrades, including the all-new Active City Brake technology, new Euro6-compliant engines and new personalisation options. All of which makes the DS3 and DS3 Cabrio even more irresistible than before.

Sensual and hypnotic: the new gaze of the DS3

DS3, the first DS model, shook up established ideas. Its styling, performance and customisation made it a real automotive icon, one that has sold in almost 300,000 units since launch, 66% of which to new customers.

A unique, high-tech, hypnotic gaze

The DS3 and DS3 Cabrio are gaining new headlights combining LED and Xenon technologies with new sequential indicators - a world first.

The new headlights provide the DS3 with even greater visibility in both low- and high-beam positions, with lighting of exceptional quality that is also restful on the eye. Three LED modules and a Xenon module are used to create a powerful, wide, uniform beam, for greater visibility and comfort when driving at night. The headlights also reduce energy consumption by 35% in low-beam mode and by 75% in high-beam. And with a standard life time of over 20,000 hours, the LEDs last twenty times longer than halogen lights.

Inspired by the Numéro 9 and Wild Rubis concept cars, the new lights feature independent modules styled to resemble diamonds in their setting. The DS3 has also been fit with innovative sequential indicators, unique in this class.

DS3

Since the launch of DS 3 in 2010, 390,000 customers have succumbed to the charms of this hip and stylish Parisian supermini. From London to Tokyo and Sydney to Buenos Aires, DS 3 has become a true automotive icon that is renowned for its distinctive personality, unique styling, driving pleasure and leading-edge technology. Both DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio have always offered drivers the best possible blend of comfort and dynamism.

New DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio are even more attractive, with new design features (revised front end and personalisation possibilities) and enhanced functionality (connectivity, driving assistance systems). For top-level performance, both in the city and out on the open road, the DS brand's versatile new models can be specified with the latest PureTech 130 three-cylinder turbo petrol engine and offer the latest-generation EAT6 automatic gearbox with the PureTech 110 petrol engine. New DS 3 and DS 3 Cabrio will also be available in Performance specification, boasting an impressive 208hp (153kW).

Avant-garde design: from the new front end to the personalisation options

DS 3 has always embodied avant-garde design and was the first DS to feature the highly expressive "DS LED Vision" light signature. Now it also boasts the DS Automobiles front end with "DS Wings" that are sculpted around a vertically-oriented grille that proudly wears the DS emblem. Surrounded in chrome to underscore its elegance, the grille extends towards the LED headlamps and fog lamps via two chromed-finished wings. The new front end perfectly complements the styling of the car, with the double wings making their debut on a DS model. After all, it is entirely natural for the first-ever modern day DS, and a DS brand icon, to lead the way. The DS design team has retained much of the car's original look, including the floating roof, two-tone body/roof colours and the shark fins on the sides, which are so emblematic of the DS 3's personality.

DS 4 (2016)

DS4

One model, two distinct body styles and a new front end. A unique style featuring elements strongly emblematic of the DS style. Even more advanced technology, and extreme refinement still visible in every detail... Introducing New DS4 and DS4 Crossback.

With this twofold offering, DS is addressing the expectations of customers in the premium compact vehicle segment. A segment that has seen the appearance of new body styles with character in recent years. Crossover vehicles now make up 30% of the premium compact hatchback market.

"DS is the spirit of avant-garde. In the case of the DS4, the brand's spirit is expressed through an offering made up of two body styles: a new premium hatchback and an unprecedented new offer: DS4 Crossback, with elegant go-anywhere style. With such complementary vehicles, the DS brand is clearly stating its ambitions and its ability to meet customer expectations," says Yves Bonnefont, CEO, DS brand.
