DS 4 Crossback (2016)

DS4 Crossback

One model, two distinct body styles and a new front end. A unique style featuring elements strongly emblematic of the DS style. Even more advanced technology, and extreme refinement still visible in every detail... Introducing New DS4 and DS4 Crossback.

Sold in 120,000 examples since launch, DS4 is gaining new impetus with the arrival of two complementary models: New DS4, a dynamic and elegant hatchback for customers looking for feelings and driving pleasure, and DS4 Crossback, an all-new body style with go-anywhere looks, and a higher driving position.

With this twofold offering, DS is addressing the expectations of customers in the premium compact vehicle segment. A segment that has seen the appearance of new body styles with character in recent years. Crossover vehicles now make up 30% of the premium compact hatchback market.

"DS is the spirit of avant-garde. In the case of the DS4, the brand's spirit is expressed through an offering made up of two body styles: a new premium hatchback and an unprecedented new offer: DS4 Crossback, with elegant go-anywhere style. With such complementary vehicles, the DS brand is clearly stating its ambitions and its ability to meet customer expectations," says Yves Bonnefont, CEO, DS brand.

With its flowing, elegant lines, chrome-finish body signatures that highlight design's beauty and high-performance engines, New DS4 has all the qualities of a premium hatchback along with a more personal touch provided by the two-tone body/roof. A feature new to this segment. With its luxurious, refined, exclusive and even more customisable interior, this DS is the rightful heir to DS cars' tradition, a tradition tinged with luxury, refinement and cutting-edge technology. New DS4 will represent a unique offering in the premium compact segment.

DS 5 (2016)

New DS5 is defined by its avant-garde styling. It combines dynamic performance, refinement and attention to detail with a range of advanced technologies. It embodies all the attributes of present and future DS vehicles.

This DS flagship model introduces the brand's stand-alone identity, gains an impressive new front end and numerous other revisions that make it a true DS.

Alongside New DS5's additional features, such as the sculpted, vertical grille with the DS monogramme in the centre, the Xenon Full LED headlights, a new touchdrive interface and a new range of high-performance engines, New DS5 maintains all the qualities it is already renowned for. These qualities include exterior lines that defy convention, an exceptional interior and exterior design with refinement in every detail and the model's characteristic 'cockpit' driving position.

From Europe to China, DS5 has made an impression on the motoring public. New DS5 is setting its sights even higher with a new front end, styling that remains avant-garde, attention to detail throughout, driving behaviour worthy of a DS and advanced technology in both design and function.

New DS5 will be unveiled at this year's Geneva Motor Show, with this new model set to arrive in UK showrooms in July 2015.

"The New DS5 is more than just a new car. It is the car introducing our brand identity. Sixty years on from the original DS, the new DS5 carries all the genes of DS. Above all, it is a clear statement of our ambition: to revive the tradition of French premium vehicles." - Yves Bonnefont, CEO of the DS brand.

DS E-Tense Concept (2016)

DS E-Tense Concept

A year after the official launch of the brand, DS Automobiles is unveiling the head-turning DS E-TENSE at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, an electric-powered Supercar that silently produces 516Nm of torque, 402hp and zero emissions.

Measuring 4.72m long and 1.29m high, DS's ambition with the DS E-TENSE is to create a high-performance electric GT car that brings together state-of-the-art technology and avant-garde design.

All those who set eyes on the DS E-TENSE will instantly notice its unique styling, flowing lines and sense of perpetual motion. With the silhouette of a grand tourer coupé emphasised by a central chrome-plated spine and an exclusive metallic green ametrine body colour, the DS E-TENSE evokes one simple desire, and that is to be driven.

DS applied its avant-garde design styling to this vehicle and similar to the Divine DS, removed the rear windscreen at the back, giving the design team a huge amount of freedom to mould its contours and make use of digital rear-view technology.

A unique DS trademark feature, the front and rear lights were the object of scrupulous attention, with the DS LED Vision headlamps that are jewel-like in design. The daytime running lights - picked out as if in beaded stitches, a nod to the world of high fashion - accentuate the car's expressive gaze. At the rear, the indicators integrated into the roof are inspired by the original DS from 1955. Finally, the light signature's show-stoppers are the tail lights: equipped with full LED technology and scale-like in design, they seem to spring to life whenever the car is in use, setting the trend for future DS models.

Citroen SpaceTourer (2016)

Citroen SpaceTourer

The Citroën SpaceTourer combines comfort, practicality and good looks with dynamic performance and remarkable fuel efficiency. Cutting edge technology and a new platform provide top-level safety and a user-friendly experience.

Its new modular EMP2-based platform, a variant of the one used by the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso, provides more cabin space and boot volume, as well as superior manoeuvrability.

Available in three variants, including a 4.60m long model, a first in the market, which can seat up to nine people, the SpaceTourer is designed with both contemporary family and business life in mind. Features such as hands-free sliding side doors and a rear window that opens fully, are indicative of this practical vehicle.

The New Citroën SpaceTourer's uncluttered and flowing styling instils a sense of robust assurance without appearing aggressive.

The position of the wheels, together with very short overhangs, ensures maximisation of the well-measured proportions of the vehicle and its spacious interior.

The front design consists of a short horizontally-styled bonnet with large, high-set headlights, providing a commanding view of the road.

In addition, the front features a broad, protective bumper with strong black air intake grilles that contrast and accentuate the SpaceTourer's styling. Vertical LED daytime running lights are seamlessly integrated with the fog lamps, giving the SpaceTourer a smart appearance but more importantly excellent illumination.

Citroen e-Mehari by Courreges Concept (2016)

Citroen e-Mehari by Courreges Concept

Some 50 years after Méhari appeared on the scene in May 1968, two visionary french Brands teamed up on an exciting project: Citroën e-Mehari by Courrèges concept car. It's based on Citroën e-Mehari, unveiled in December 2015, a car inspired by its no less revolutionary forebear. Citroën e-Mehari is an all-electric four-seater cabriolet. It's fun, modern, environment-friendly, and eminently true to the values of creativity, freedom and optimism that Citroën has been advancing since nearly a century ago.

Very similar values are held by french fashion House Courrèges, whose modern, innovative creations have always radiated brightness and optimism. Courrèges revolutionized the fashion world of the sixties and seventies, just like Citroën revolutionized the motoring world with its legendary Méhari, released in 1968. Both share the spirits of freedom, youth and creativity. Courrèges, like Citroën, is a Brand driven by free-thinking visionaries.

This realization prompted Citroën to approach Courrèges with a project to sublimate new e-Mehari model into an exclusive and luminous creation. It would be fashionable, playful and electric, a trend-setter in every sense of the term, naturally enough given the background and reputation of this emblematic Brand. Courrèges bosses Jacques Bungert and Frédéric Torloting, who "believe very strongly in the crossover between different creative fields", took up the idea and called in their design studio, which would liaise with the Citroën Design Centre to run development work on the concept car.

Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl (2017)

Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl

A new type of crossover designed to shake up the sector, the C4 Cactus is continuing to expand its range with the World Premiere of a new special edition at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The Citroën C4 Cactus Rip Curl is born from the collaboration between Citroën and Rip Curl, the legendary brand from the world of surfing.

Through the association with Rip Curl - whose name alone has symbolised surfing since 1969 - Citroën is boosting the outdoor spirit of C4 Cactus through the introduction of an even more radical and adventurous version.

Citroën is providing C4 Cactus fans with a special edition that is more technologically advanced, with a higher level of all-road performance. This car is ideal for lifestyles focused on leisure and well-being. This philosophy is totally in tune with Rip Curl, a brand founded in Torquay, Australia, only a few hours' drive from the mythical Cactus Bay surfing hotspot.

Sharing values such as innovation and creativity, both brands also share a taste for adventure. Rip Curl calls this "The Search", meaning the search for the perfect wave. Now, the C4 Cactus Rip Curl encourages drivers to hit the road anytime, anywhere. The partnership is perfectly aligned and compliments the launch of Grip Control in the C4 Cactus range.

Grip Control - more traction, to help you get away

The Citroën C4 Cactus Rip Curl's major innovation is enhanced traction. Associated with the more powerful C4 Cactus engines, each mated to a manual gearbox (PureTech 110 S&S manual and BlueHDi 100 manual). Citroën's C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition is the only version to come with Grip Control. The car also features special Mud & Snow tyres to help keep it moving on difficult surfaces (Goodyear 205/50 R17 89V - Vector 4Seasons tyres).

Citroen e-Mehari (2017)

Citroen e-Mehari

The Citroen e-Mehari is a vehicle connected to the history of the brand but with its sights set squarely on the future. It is a wink to an iconic vehicle, the 1968 Méhari, but also far more than that: it is a cheery, all-electric 4-seater cabriolet with modern, fun styling. Through this new stage of its partnership with the Bolloré Group, Citroen is confirming its ambition to bring to market cheery, optimistic vehicles that are different from the rest.

Stylish, confident, offbeat, and even sassy... we could use so many words to describe the new model by Citroen. The e-Mehari is a bold, vibrant vehicle, very much in tune with the Citroen spirit. The e-Mehari is an "it car", designed to appeal to customers looking for an alternative vehicle with a positive outlook on life, attentive to trends and to the environment.

Incomparable, silent and stress-free, the e-Mehari stands apart as a free spirit in the automotive market!

The exterior design of e-Mehari reflects Citroen's positioning. All the brand styling cues are visible, including:

  • an expressive gaze with dual headlights, the signature of the Citroen brand;
  • a unique, optimistic design featuring full, warm contours, smooth lines and a smiling front end;
  • clean styling, symbolising true, simple pleasures, another way of talking about driveability.

This charismatic personality is accompanied by radical choices in colour. The e-Mehari offers a wide range of possibilities for personalisation with:

  • four body colours: blue, as an invitation to get away from it all, orange to convey a sense of energy and optimism, an invigorating yellow and an elegant beige.
  • two roof colours: black and orange-red.
  • two interior trim colours: a natural-looking beige and a high-tech orange-red with a central pattern inspired by water sports. Both are made of plastic-coated fabric and are completely waterproof. This makes the wildest associations possible for all those looking for a colourful, expressive and fun car.
