HSV Z Series Maloo (2006)
HSV E Series Clubsport R8
As the most recognisable and popular nameplate in the HSV stable, ClubSport has always epitomised the brand's core values of outstanding sporting performance combined with exceptional value for money but the latest E Series ClubSport R8 elevates that equation to a stratospheric new level. totally fresh from the ground up - with 301 individual and unique HSV enhancements, it brings even more street-wise road presence, more performance technologies and more driver oriented sporting appointments, yet the price is actually below that of the outgoing model.
While there is no doubt that it makes an extraordinary value for money offering, such are the incredible new credentials carried by E Series ClubSport R8 it's now a high performance sporting sedan that can hold its head high against the world's best either locally or in overseas markets.
Styling and design
In traditional HSV fashion, the 'Sports Performance' styling package makes a big, bold and very assertive statement. The finely chiselled twin-nostril grille tops a front facia that features a dynamic lower intake complete with V8 Supercar-like pseudo brake cooling ducts and a set of driving and fog lamps.
The side elevation is dominated by E Series signature fender vents (consisting of a totally unique to HSV fully metal pressed lower guard section) and the striking 19-inch alloy wheel design which deliberately exposes the awesome new HSV brake package, as well as emphasising the vehicle's rear drivetrain.
HSV E Series GTS
HSV's most aspirational and inspirational nameplate, the legendary GTS, returns as the top-flight E Series model and its remarkable list of specifications and features mark it as a more than worthy successor to its illustrious forebears.
It immediately stamps its authority with increased power, an awesome new braking system, high-tech suspension, more rubber on the road for greater grip and an on-road presence that points to its status as one of the fastest four-door sedans in the world.
Not only does it drive, stop and look better than any previous model, it also carries the best pricing proposition ever for a GTS.
Measured against any rival performance sedan, in any market across the world, using any criteria for comparison, the new E Series GTS is a born leader.
Styling and design
Whether on the road or standing still, the GTS is a car that demands your attention, no matter which angle you're looking from. The 'Sports Performance' styling package opens with a finely chiselled twin-nostril grille above a front facia that features a dynamic lower intake complete with V8 Supercar-like pseudo brake cooling ducts and a set of driving and fog lamps.
The side elevation is dominated by E Series signature fender vents (consisting of a totally unique to HSV fully metal pressed lower guard section) and the radical looking 20-inch alloy wheel design which deliberately exposes the awesome new HSV brake package, as well as emphasising the vehicle's rear drivetrain. A more distinctive and aggressive GTS appearance is created by 'Matt Black' bonnet header strip, fender vents and rear spoiler supports.
HSV E Series Grange
Combining an elegant, individual sense of style with traditional HSV hard edged performance cues, the WM Grange has debuted at the Sydney International Motor Show ahead of its wider Australian release in 2007.
Managing Director of Holden Special Vehicles Mr Phil Harding said the all new Grange provided the ultimate in Australian luxury with an engine and suspension package destined to make the WM a 'classic'.
"We are delighted to welcome the WM Grange to the HSV range, which combines all the luxury and performance of the E series in a roomy, completely new, long wheel based edition", Mr Harding said.
"The Grange is everything the Australian public have come to expect from a car wearing the Holden Special Vehicle badge, at a price that will make overseas 'competitors' blush".
Mr Harding said he expected strong demand for the Grange within Australia but were also confident of continuing the HSV push internationally.
"We are intending to build on the successful export of Grange into China, exploring new markets for this new Grange", Mr Harding said.
Styling and design
WM Grange continues the HSV mantra of 'Luxury and Performance'. The emphasis is on restrained elegance giving only a hint of the model's true performance potential.
Front facia and rear bib are totally unique - the front featuring an understated premium European-style chrome grille complemented by a thin chrome surround for the lower intake. The chrome theme continues on the window surrounds. Elegant 10-spoke 19-inch alloy wheel add further sophistication to the side elevation.
HSV Senator Signature
With an elegant, individual sense of style combined with traditional HSV hard edged performance cues, the all new E Series Senator Signature offers the ultimate in an Australian luxury/sporting sedan. Styling is deliberately more understated than it's overtly sporting siblings yet it still has enormous roadpresence that bares comparison to the best Europe has to offer.
However, the irony is that, for all its elegant overtones and luxurious appointments this model carries all the performance hallmarks found in an GTS and, therefore, is classified as one of the fastest four-door sedans in the world. for buyers who have traditionally shopped amongst the prestige european marques the all new E Series Senator Signature is a genuine alternative and offers extraordinary value for money.
In its price bracket the opposition looks seriously under powered, under equipped and over priced yet to find a model that actually matched Senator Signature's level of performance, driver oriented technology and luxury features would require an outlay of over twice the price of this outstanding HSV model. in E Series Senator Signature, HSV's executive express is truly leading the pack.
Styling and design
E Series Senator Signature continues with this model's distinctive 'Luxury Performance' styling theme which offers an excellent top of the range the alternative. The emphasis is on restrained elegance giving subtle clues to the model's true performance potential.

Holden Special Vehicles unveiled a seven litre program at the 2008 Melbourne Motor Show, the last instalment of the company s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The car to be known in its final development stages as the W427 is finished in the same Panorama Silver paint scheme as the original Group A SS VL Commodore, released at the Melbourne Motor Show of 1988, exactly 20 years ago.
HSV Managing Director, Scott Grant, said the W427 was a tribute to how far the company has come in just twenty years.
"To be able to produce a vehicle of these proportions is truly remarkable", Scott Grant said.
"The W427 will be quite possibly the fastest road registrable Supercar ever produced in Australia and among the quickest anywhere around the world", he said.
While power output figures are still to be confirmed, the W427 is likely to produce in excess of 370kW of power and 640NM of torque.
"It will also be one of the safest cars HSV has ever put on the road", Scott Grant said.
A new six piston front braking system will provide a 50% increase in pad area, while the Holden W427 also receives a revised ESP calibration, six air bags, improved handling and new Magnetic Ride Control settings.
The Holden W427 receives a bimodal active exhaust system to improve noise quality and back pressure management.
Styling and design highlights include an all new front fascia, a three piece carbon fibre rear spoiler, 20 inch machined faced alloy wheel, unique exhaust tips and red leather interior.
