Lamborghini Huracan LP620-2 Super Trofeo (2015)

Lamborghini Huracan LP620-2 Super Trofeo

Automobili Lamborghini presented its new generation racecar developed by its Motorsport department: the new Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo. Unveiled in a world preview during the prestigious 2014 Monterey Car Week (California, USA), the car will debut in all three series (Europe, Asia and North America) of the 2015 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo.

The Huracán Super Trofeo marks a new benchmark for the race series. According to Maurizio Reggiani, in charge of Lamborghini's Research and Development Department and motorsport activities, "The Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo is an all-new car built from scratch with a clear racing concept. Every feature is engineered for sophisticated high performance, complying with the strictest motorsport safety standards."

The chassis features an exceptionally light roll cage at just 43 Kg that extends to the rear axle, and impressive torsional stiffness that represents a massive 45% improvement compared to the previous model. The frame is a hybrid carbon/aluminum construction with modified geometries to house an improved radiator up front and better accommodate the racing gearbox at the rear, which also provides better aerodynamics. The dry weight of the Huracán Super Trofeo is 1,270 Kg, with a weight distribution of 42/58%.

The bodywork is in composite materials and, along with the aerodynamics, has been developed in collaboration with Dallara Engineering with the direct involvement of the founder Gian Paolo Dallara. Refinements to the Huracán Super Trofeo include new bodywork 'fast fittings', and a new oil radiator providing even more performance than that found on the Gallardo.

Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV (2016)

Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV

Automobili Lamborghini presented the Lamborghini LP750-4 Superveloce at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

With increased power, lower weight, improved aerodynamics and innovative technologies the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce is the most pure incarnation of a Lamborghini to date: unmistakable Lamborghini super sports car DNA, dynamic superiority and exceptional driving precision. A focus on weight reduction while incorporating innovative technologies has resulted in the most sports-oriented, fastest and most emotional series production Lamborghini ever. The weight has been further reduced by 50 kg through enhanced lightweight engineering including significant use of carbon fiber. The naturally aspirated V12 engine's power is increased to 552 kW/750 hp. This results in a power-to-weight-ratio of 2,03 kg/hp. The Superveloce accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and powers on to reach a top speed of more than 350 km/h (more than 217 mph).

"The new Aventador Superveloce continues the Lamborghini tradition of SV models, pushing the boundaries in terms of performance and pure driving emotion," says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. "The original Aventador was presented four years ago, and the Superveloce pays homage to its passionate owners, as well as the fan community, whose enthusiasm has resulted in the biggest commercial success ever of a Lamborghini V12 super sports car. In the Superveloce Lamborghini's expertise in lightweight engineering is clearly evident. With technological features which, combined with design, quality standards and craftsmanship, the Superveloce results in the most exclusive, pure and emotional production model in the history of our brand."

Lamborghini Centenario (2017)

Lamborghini Centenario

Automobili Lamborghini presented the Lamborghini Centenario at 2016 Geneva Motor Show, in the year the company celebrates the centenary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini's birth. Only 20 coupé and 20 roadster versions of the Lamborghini Centenario will be produced and all 40 cars are already sold, at a start price of 1.75 million euros plus tax.

The Lamborghini Centenario continues Lamborghini's one-off strategy and demonstrates Lamborghini's innovative design and engineering competencies. Using the V12 architecture, the Centenario's naturally aspirated engine produces 770 hp and powers from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and from 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds with a top speed of more than 350 km/h. Braking from 100 km/h to standstill is achieved in 30 meters. A monocoque and body in full carbon fiber provide a low weight of 1,520 kg and a weight to power ratio of just 1.97 kg/hp.

The car's aerodynamic design includes an extending rear wing providing more downforce at high speeds. The introduction of rear-wheel steering provides increased agility and stability, and an innovative touchscreen provides connected infotainment, including internet browsing and Apple CarPlay.

"The Centenario is a car that perfectly combines tradition and innovation. It looks to the future while honouring the legend that is Ferruccio Lamborghini," says Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. "The Centenario is an opportunity for our designers and engineers to transcend some of the constraints of series car production to achieve an incomparable result: the Centenario has immediately proved itself as a desirable collectors' car, while demonstrating new Lamborghini technologies and outstanding performance. It is the most fitting tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini in his centenary year: a man who created an exceptional brand, believed that anything was possible, and produced extraordinary, iconic cars. The Centenario is a super sports car for Ferruccio Lamborghini and the future he and we believe in today."

Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 (2017)

Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2

Automobili Lamborghini presented the Lamborghini Huracán LP580-2: a two-wheel drive version of the Huracán coupe. Specifically designed and engineered for its rear-wheel drive set-up, the Huracán LP580-2's combines dynamic new looks with a package for an enhanced Lamborghini driving emotion.

"The Lamborghini Huracán LP580-2 continues the Lamborghini tradition of pure, visionary and technology-driven models," says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. "The rear-wheel drive model fits perfectly into our Huracán family, appealing to those wanting an even more intense driving experience, or who currently drive other rear-wheel-drive marques and aspire to driving a Lamborghini. This is the purest expression of a Lamborghini to date, with class-leading technological refinements. It is a serious car for serious drivers: it is maximum driving fun."

The Huracán LP580-2 has been engineered and tuned for an essential driving experience. With its naturally aspirated V10 5.2 l engine sending 426 kW / 580 hp to the rear axle, the Huracán LP580-2's dry weight is just 1,389 kg, thus 33 kg lighter than the four-wheel-drive version.

Weight distribution is biased 40% at the front / 60% at the rear, reducing inertia on the front axle. An entirely new power management set-up, encompassing modified suspension, new steering set-up and recalibrated stability and traction controls connects the driver as directly as possible with the road. The selectable Lamborghini driving modes STRADA, SPORT and CORSA are tuned to provide oversteering characteristics, emphasizing authentic rear-wheel drive behavior.
